Artificial intelligence in focus at the upcoming edition of the E-Commerce Conference

With less than a month to go until the upcoming 6th E-Commerce Conference, which will be held on November 14th at the National Opera and Ballet in Skopje, the event promises a day filled with keynotes, panel discussions, and informal conversations about the integration of artificial intelligence, data, and marketing in the field of e-commerce. Attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to learn from international and domestic industry pioneers and leaders who have effectively used artificial intelligence to accelerate their success in online commerce.

The conference will explore how AI is changing the reality of e-commerce, delving into key topics such as leveraging AI to personalize user experience, data-driven decision-making, and more.

Mr. Stevo Pendarovski, President of the Republic of North Macedonia, will give his opening address at the conference.

The conference then continues with the first session called “Marketplace Mavericks: Unleashing Success In Online Retail” which consists of a panel discussion and case study, that includes industry leaders from regional and global marketplace platforms such as Marko Carević, CEO at Ananas, Katarzyna Rosa, leader for education and development of merchants at “Allegro” and Raluka Bujoreanu, product leader at “Zalando”, Nikola Ilchev from “E-commerce Academy” from Bulgaria and others.

Later in the day, through the session “Spotlight On Fulfillment & Payments: Will We Crack Regional Cross-Border E-Commerce?” attendees will explore e-commerce payment options in the region, the path to success, and lessons learned. This session includes talks with eminent speakers from the region including Branko Greganović, CEO at NLB Banka Makedonija, Ivan Mirkovski, CEO of “Smart Living”, Elvis Pivic, co-founder at “My Brand” from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fidan Ramizi, founder of the aoos.com.al platform from Albania, Sonja Buha, e-commerce manager at Mona Moda from Serbia and many others.

The conference continues with the session “The Race For Innovation & Technology: How To Leverage AI, Data & Marketing In E-Commerce”. This session explores innovation and progress in the field of e-commerce, including a presentation by Stefan Kovacevic, global e-commerce digital shelf leader at Nestlé, followed by a panel discussion on the future of marketing with experts from various fields.

The fourth session, “Customer-Centric E-Commerce: Pioneering The E-Shopper Front” focuses on creating personalized experiences and understanding user habits. Kai Hertzberger, Group Director for DACH and EMEA at Meta, and Samantha Tillett, Global Director of Partnerships at Httpool for Amazon Ads, will share valuable experiences related to this topic with the guests in attendance.

The final session entitled “E-Commerce Funding And What Are The VC’s Appetites?” focuses on financing and growth opportunities for e-commerce businesses in the country and the region.

As a reminder, this year the conference is opening its doors to the regional audience for the second time. More than 600 guests are expected – successful entrepreneurs, e-traders, company directors, and government representatives from N.Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Romania, Bulgaria, and Croatia, which makes the conference unique and unique in the region in its sixth edition.
